Rise Up Early Childhood is an intimate and innovative, Waldorf-inspired childcare center in Rogers Park serving children 2-5 years old. Our staff and teachers are familiar with and excited by working with a play-based, nature-infused, arts-forward philosophy. We are energetic, and love the outdoors and nature as we venture outside in all types of weather. We are co-facilitators in creating a positive, gentle, and enriching learning environment for our attending children.

Toddler Program Teacher
Rise Up is looking for a Toddler Program Teacher to join our team, and work with the 2-3 year old children at Rise Up. This position will include assisting with curriculum, routines, and rhythms which have been established by our experienced Rise Up toddler teachers, as well as opportunities for leadership and continued project and program development.  All Rise Up teachers work collaboratively from a play-based, nature-infused, arts-forward philosophy, helping to facilitate a positive, gentle, and enriching experience for our attending children.  The ideal candidate is energetic and enjoys being outside in all seasons and weather, has experience working with this very young age group, and is eager to contribute, learn, and grow in their early childhood work.

Nature Play Program Teacher
We are looking for a Nature Play Program Teacher to join our team, and work with our 3 1/2-5 year-olds at Rise Up. This position will include assisting with curriculum, routines, and rhythms which have been established by our experienced Rise Up Nature Play teacher, as well as opportunities for leadership and continued project and program development.  All Rise Up teachers work collaboratively from a play-based, nature-infused, arts-forward philosophy, helping to facilitate a positive, gentle, and enriching experience for our attending children.  The ideal candidate is energetic; enthusiastic about being outside for extended periods in all seasons and weather; has experience working with this age group; and is eager to contribute, learn, and grow in their early childhood work.

Substitute Teachers
Rise Up subs enjoy and have had experience working with young children, have a few songs, stories, and hand games up their sleeve, and are adaptable team players. They are reliable and have schedule availability during some days of the week.
