Rise Up Early Childhood is an intimate and innovative, Waldorf-inspired childcare center in Rogers Park serving children 2-5 years old. Our staff and teachers are familiar with and excited by working with a play-based, nature-infused, arts-forward philosophy. We are energetic, and love the outdoors and nature as we venture outside in all types of weather. | Toddler Program Teacher Rise Up is looking for a Toddler Program Teacher to join our team, and work with the 2-3 year old children at Rise Up. This position will include assisting with curriculum, routines, and rhythms which have been established by our experienced Rise Up toddler teachers, as well as opportunities for leadership and continued project and program development. All Rise Up teachers work collaboratively from a play-based, nature-infused, arts-forward philosophy, helping to facilitate a positive, gentle, and enriching experience for our attending children. The ideal candidate is energetic and enjoys being outside in all seasons and weather, has experience working with this very young age group, and is eager to contribute, learn, and grow in their early childhood work. This position will include assisting with curriculum, routines, and rhythms which have been established by our experienced Rise Up Nature Play teacher, as well as opportunities for leadership and continued project and program development. All Rise Up teachers work collaboratively from a play-based, nature-infused, arts-forward philosophy, helping to facilitate a positive, gentle, and enriching experience for our attending children.
