In order to best protect our staff, children, and families we’ve created safety practices and procedures, as well as quarantine requirements should they become necessary. The precautions we have in place mitigate the risk of exposure to and spread of Covid-19 within the Rise Up community and beyond. Oversight and guidance for the development and implementation of these procedures comes from our licensing body, DCFS, and the CDC.
Daily practices include:
- mask-wearing
- social distancing as possible
- hand sanitizing stations
- frequent professional-grade disinfecting of surfaces and toys
- special procedures for drop-off and pick-up to limit the number of people in the center
- screening for Covid-19 symptoms
